Remix Brighton is in the process of being set up (it is currently being set up at http://www.remixbrighton.org ). Its aim, like Remix Reading, is to get artists (working with music, video, images and text) to come together and share their work, be inspired by each others' work, and ultimately to create "remixes". All material on the web site will be released under a Creative Commons license, which allows people to customise their copyright so others can use, copy, and share their work as they choose. We are also planning a launch event to unveil Remix Brighton as well as promoting free (or open source) software.

To get involved with our group people can sign up to the general discussion mailing here. There is also a tech mailing list for people who want to help with the codebase. For the moment we are using the same mailing list for the different remix groups so that everyone can keep track and contribute ideas.

We haven't set up a Remix Brighton email account yet. In the meantime, if people want to get in touch, please email Edward at ed --AT-- acrewoods --DOT-- net
